We Love Our Pies

We bought some pies in from a local Skipton butcher, Drake & Macefield, to celebrate ‘National Pie Week’. Who doesn’t love a good pie? Yum, yum, yum! :)

John Binns managing director, Alex Driver, recently went back to school. He visited Gargrave primary school to teach them all about the wonders of springs. Judging by the thank you card, we think he found his new calling.

We get involved with all kinds of unusual work. We recently powder coated a light bulb sculpture made by a local sculptor, Craig Dyson. Craig has had work sold at Sotheby’s and also works locally in education projects.

Here is another video showing a successful project we carried out using our 3D production series printer. We are always happy to help with prototype development using our technical knowledge on springs. The 3D production series printer enables us to produce fully functional prototypes to help with these projects.

This year’s winner of the John Binns Centenary Spring Time trophy is Darren Holdsworth. The competition this year involved combined scores of bowling and a go-kart competition. Darren said: "Winning this trophy was one of the best moments of my life."
