Compression Springs 

We are able to produce compression springs out of material thickness ranging from  0.3mm up to 17mm. Our automatics department is capable of producing many thousands of components, using the latest technology. But if there is some uncertainty in a design or if prototypes are required, we also have a small lots department, which is geared up to supply customers with a rapid response sample service.

Tension Springs

We can design and manufacture tension springs to the very highest standards in wire sizes as above. With over 100 years experience we are able to produce to customer specifications, sample or a drawing and if you are not certain what you want call us and one of our design staff will be more than happy to work with you to solve your problems.

Torsion Springs

Wire Forms

The major investment in CNC technologies has meant that John Binns & Son now has an impressive facility for wireformed products. The multi-axis machines can accommodate wire sizes from 1.4mm to 13mm to produce 2D or 3D forms and the possibilities in terms of designs are virtually endless.
The extensive array of products manufactured extends from simple hooks and handles through to threaded linkages in machinery. All parts can be made to very tight tolerances.
