Flexibility

We have the capacity to manufacture production runs of millions but we also give the same attention to smaller quantities even one-offs. As investment in new plant has taken place, so our ability to drive down costs for large volume work has developed. The latest CNC machines mean that even very complex parts can be manufactured without the need for costly and time-consuming secondary operations.
Similarly, our dedicated small lots department is geared to the efficient manufacture of small orders, including breakdown jobs where a rapid turnaround is required.
We also have the flexibility to meet our customers’ individual requirements in respect of deliveries. This may entail stocks being held at John Binns to enable the immediate despatch of parts, delivering to schedules or on a just-in-time basis. We can also pack parts in customer packaging to remove this cost once the goods are received.
Every area of our operation has been reviewed to cut out unnecessary costs and ensure a lean manufacturing environment.

Design / Problem Resolution

John Binns & Son can list a number of notable success stories that have resulted from our design team working with our customers. The prototype stage of any project can be frustrating and costly but our skilled personnel can draw on years of experience in a wide range of sectors to help our customers with any technical issues in respect of springs and wireforms.
By combining this experience with CAD programmes and the latest CNC machines capable of rapid prototyping, we can minimise the time taken to resolve problems whether in respect of a new product or a design change in an existing application.
