John Binns has recently welcomed members from two of the local schools’ sixforms.

The Design & Technology A’level students from Giggleswick School enjoyed a tour of the factory and were able to view some of the latest spring and wireforming technologies in operation.

They have been offered the opportunity to design products, which will be prototyped at John Binns, as part of their course.

Two Engineering students from Skipton Girls’ High School (an engineering specialist school) have also visited the factory. Their project involved profiling, Christian Driver, the production director at John Binns. In the past John Binns has also helped other students with product design projects.
