In December last year, Nicola Card – daughter of the late Trevor Driver, original director at John Binns – retired from the business to run her new venture of Cracoe Café.

Nicola has played a pivotal part in the company for the last 25 years, and will be incredibly missed here by all. She had a close relationship with customers – handling any and all queries and enquiries they may have – and turned her hand to any area of the business which was required.

As well as being one of the first points of call for customers, she was also the go-to person for enquiries in the office and was always of the utmost help no matter the situation.

We wish Nicola all the very best in her next chapter and will call in for brews and bacon butties at the café whenever we can!
