Flat springs are often chosen over a helical spring due to the space and design characteristics. Some examples of flat springs include electrical contacts, leaf springs, curved flat springs, spring clips, disk springs, constant force springs, clamping springs and clock springs.

There are endless possibilities with regards to the design of flat springs. These parts will often need tooling designed specifically for the part along with CAD drawings for the laser cutting and other operations.
