Local School Presents Wireform Products
Following a project involving John Binns Springs from an early stage, Giggleswick A-Level students recently presented their finished products. Production director, Christian driver, had assisted the students with their design ideas with a focus both on engineering and commercial aspects. The expertise of John Binns’ production team also helped to maximise the benefits of the project for the students.
The products’ wireform components were all manufactured at John Binns. The final products included a coffee table, a chair made from hexagonal shapes and a speaker that vibrated when in use.
Production engineer, Mark Holdsworth, reflected, ” the students’ designs combined both creativity and practicality, which may well make them commercially viable.”
