Smithy Puts Andy Murray in the Shade

Andy Murray may have ended Great Britain’s 77 year wait for a Wimbledon champion but at the recent John Binns’ Sports Day a far more significant sporting drought was ended.  After 35 years at the firm, Ian Smith finally got his hands on the John Binns’ Springtime Trophy.  Admittedly, this has always previously been a golfing trophy and Smithy remains in the “good walk spoiled” camp.  However, this year the competition was changed to archery and Smithy seized the crown with an impressive 83/100 score.
