Time Ticks On

Now just for ornamental purposes, the old clocking-in clock still ticks away today. Manufactured in the 1920’s we estimate that this clock has witnessed the start and end of over 40,000 shifts!

Continuing Our Look Back Through John Binns’ History

During the Second World War John Binns & Son received a letter from the Ministry of Supply thanking the company for its efforts in supplying springs for tanks. Recently, as a one off job, the company has been involved in a project to supply springs for the restoration of an M24 Chaffee tank.

Brian Northrop

It’s the end of an era here at John Binns Springs. Brian Northrop will retire this month after 43 years of working for the company. An incredible achievement and one that is greatly appreciated by all involved with the company. Moving the Furniture About…

Down on the shop floor work has commenced to prepare space for the brand new machinery that will be installed into the factory. The arrival of the machinery, which will increase our core manufacturing range, is imminent and the necessary preparation is taking place in order to keep production rates nominal.
